SMOULDER (2021)

EXPERIMENTAL SHORT FILM // IMPROVISED VISUALS, SOUND, MOVEMENT

COMMISSIONED & FEATURED BY PHOENIX CENTRAL PARK

PART OF THE SPACE/ACTION SERIES PRODUCED BY ENTROPICO

SMOULDER floods the space with the intense, suppressed emotions that saturate the aftermath of fire and calls for resilience, protection and kinship. Explored through the sacred perspectives of First Nations collaborators in tandem with non-Indigenous artists, SMOULDER is a multi-disciplinary response to the 2019 Australian bushfires.
